About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Growth to lead the charge in driving Fulfillio's next stage of expansion. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is hungry to hit ambitious targets, and has the vision to identify new market opportunities.

You will be the face of Fulfillio's growth strategy — responsible for building strong client partnerships, uncovering opportunities across industries, and turning them into long-term revenue streams. Beyond closing deals, you will shape the growth strategy, develop a high-performing team over time, and play a key role in Fulfillio's journey to becoming the most innovative and sustainable fulfilment partner in the region.

This role is based in Melbourne, with flexibility to travel interstate for client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new markets, industries, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Set revenue and growth targets, with clear plans to achieve them.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Source, negotiate, and secure new clients and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to closing deals.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide insights to improve services, solutions, and market positioning.

Collaboration Across Departments

  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Share feedback with leadership on client needs and market demands.

Partnerships & Networking

  • Represent Fulfillio at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Build strategic alliances to support long-term growth.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Track, measure, and report on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Present progress and recommendations to senior leadership.

Contract & Deal Negotiation

  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are commercially sound.
  • Manage client accounts to maximise revenue and profitability.

Key Requirements

Education & Background

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field (MBA desirable).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets.

Experience

  • 3–7 years' experience in business development, account management, or sales.
  • Track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and closing high-value deals.
  • Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or fulfilment industries highly regarded.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and market research.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and turn them into opportunities.
  • Commercially savvy with financial acumen.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and MS Office tools.
