About the role
As our
Account Manager
you will be passionate about building on a well-established customer base with a focus on Account Management and Business Development. You will sell core and innovative products to a wide range of customers, such as, yet not limited to the distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and construction sectors.
We are offering the below BONUSES for our successful applicant:
- Sign on bonus of
$1,500
upon commencement - Retention bonus of
$1,500
upon completion of 12 months - A further retention bonus of
$2,000
upon completion of 24 months
Key responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with whom key contracts are held in the region.
- Create and maintain customer and competitor profiles and develop growth/sales plans
- Identify, understand and develop customers and market offers to meet current and potential customer needs.
- Build and maintain extensive market knowledge; including competitors, suppliers, industry trends and products.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and timely provision of quotations and response to customer needs
- Identify and recommend training and development needs for internal sales team and self
Your success is a result of being a proactive and engaging team player with a customer-centric focus and passion for account management. You enjoy operating autonomously and have a high level of integrity, excellent networking skills and an ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A record of developing and influencing positive relationships with current and prospective clients & stakeholders
- Sales experience preferably within the steel, mining or similar industries - construction, engineering, or manufacturing
- Strong financial & business acumen and solid negotiation skills
- Highly effective communication and reporting skills
- Experience using SAP or similar CRM systems & MS Office applications for planning & reporting
- Current Drivers Licence
