About the role

What you will be doing

  • The primary purpose of the Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager is to contribute to the growth of NDSP's client base by creating a pipeline of new plan management clients. This is done by building relationships with and promoting the services of NDSP Plan Managers to external stakeholders, including:

· Support Coordinators

· Psychosocial Recovery Coaches

· Local Area Coordinators & Early Childhood Partners

· NDIS Service Providers

· NDIS Participants and their immediate Circles of Support

· Community Groups within the sector

The role will also support an empathetic and effortless on-boarding experience for clients and stakeholders joining the NDSP Plan Managers Community is achieved.

· Internal My Plan Manager Group/ NDSP Plan Managers department stakeholders

What you'll do

Reporting to the National Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager, you'll be:

· Achieving the KPI's associated with the Community Engagement & Partnerships Team, including activity levels and new client growth targets

· Developing and implementing NDSP Plan Managers Client Acquisition Strategy at a tactical level relevant to the market area

· Working with industry, community, and grass roots organisations to develop a pipeline of client referrals

· Ensuring that established relationships are maintained with External Stakeholders

· In conjunction with other areas of the business, acting as the escalation point for Referral Partners (Support Coordinators, etc) should their issues need resolution.

· Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure that client and partner expectations are met

· Monitoring and providing the organisation with feedback about competitor activity

· Overcoming hesitations that Referral Partners in the sector may have in referring NDSP Plan Managers services. As well as hesitations that NDIS participants may

have in signing up

· Ensuring exceptional client service is always delivered throughout all interactions

· At times support with onboarding new clients into the NDSP community

· Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement to the customer service experience

· Performing all duties in compliance with the NDIS regulatory framework

About you

To be our next Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager, you'll have:

· Experience in working within Disability Sector and knowledge of NDIS, desirable but not mandatory

· 3+ years of experience in a Business Development and Client Relationship Management/ Account Management role(s). Experience in sectors such as Disability,

Allied Health, Insurance or Financial Services desirable

· Excellent verbal, public speaking, and written communication skills

· Strong relationship building skills with an empathetic and person-centred approach to internal team and external customer interactions

· The ability to plan and activate local area marketing strategies

· Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional customer centric experience

· Excellent communications skills in both verbal and written forms

· Ability to effectively manage Account Management based enquiries and complaints through to resolution

· Ability to initiate, build and maintain collaborative and effective partnerships across all organisational levels

· High level literacy and numeracy skills with IT expertise; Office 365, CRM and databases
