As the
Supplier Relationship Specialist
, you will engage with key stakeholders at all levels and suppliers focusing on priorities for the business domains and what needs to be delivered, taking the initiative to keep things moving. You will bring the IT and business teams and suppliers together to deliver value for our customers' expectations ensuring suppliers meet their commercial obligations and provide innovative solutions for the future of Qantas Group. This hands-on role is a key part of the Technology SRM team and supply supplier relationship management services to meet the demands of the Qantas Group's diverse portfolio, while maximising the value from our supplier related expenditure.

Key factor of the success of this role is through the delivery of cost savings to meet annual targets, ensuring good governance and working for key suppliers, and excellent level of stakeholder communications.

You'll Have

  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation and supplier governance
  • Excellent commercial acumen and experience in contract negotiation
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highly complex and diverse multi-stakeholder business
  • Strong background in IT supplier services
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal oversight
