Supplier Relationship Manager
to join our
Group Procurement – Technology SRM team
to drive value, innovation, and performance across multiple technology domains.

This role is your opportunity to lead high-impact supplier partnerships that directly support Qantas' Technology strategy and innovation. You'll work closely with Executive stakeholders and Tier 1 technology suppliers to deliver value, mitigate risks, and drive long-term strategic outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the governance and performance of 10+ strategic technology suppliers across multiple domains.
  • Collaborate with internal Technology and Procurement stakeholders to ensure supplier performance aligns with Qantas' goals.
  • Manage complex contracts, monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes and negotiate commercial outcomes to maximise value.
  • Identify and implement supplier-driven innovation and continuous improvement programs.
  • Facilitate executive-level supplier governance forums
  • Provide leadership to a team of Relationship Specialists and Analysts, supporting their development and performance, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Deliver contract health checks, identify savings opportunities, and champion SRM best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the Qantas Group, bringing commercial expertise and value-led thinking.
  • Support the SRM Portfolio Manager, mentor SRM Specialists and Analysts

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years' experience in contract negotiation, commercial supplier governance, and vendor management—preferably in IT services.
  • A Bachelor's degree is essential; CIPS certification desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including at C-suite level.
  • Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing off-shore and outsourced service providers.
  • A collaborative mindset with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A passion for delivering outcomes that make Qantas a customer of choice for our suppliers.
