About the Role

Deliver a high-quality activities program to enhance the quality/enjoyment of life for residents in this rewarding role, based at Winchelsea. We are seeking a motivated and innovative Program Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will provide leadership and support to a team of Activity Officers and play a key part in shaping and delivering program in the community that are responsive to consumer needs. You will also be responsible for identifying emerging service requirements and contributing to continuous service improvement.

Your skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Disability, Social Work, Health, Welfare, Community Services Development or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage programs in accordance with legislative and contractual requirements, allocated budget, quality assurance standards and risk management program.
  • Experience in working in the Aged Care Service sector or Community services at program management level.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate group programs and activities.
  • Skills and ability to develop a strong team environment and effectively motivate and mentor staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
