We are seeking a talented individual to join our Auto, Fleet & Trades team at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a broker looking to enhance their skill set across a range of insurance products for various industries. If you are an organized self-starter motivated to proactively manage client interactions and strengthen account relationships, we want to hear from you
We will count on you to:
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to them.
- Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client needs as required.
- Process billing requests and gather information for quotes.
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations.
- Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control, and other necessary reporting over the client portfolio.
- Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act on them in a timely manner.
What you need to have:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of general or financial lines insurance broking
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate good time management skills.
