Senior Risk Advisor - NSW GovernmentPay Rate: $ $675.50 per day + SuperLocation: Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid)Assignment Duration:Anticipated until 19th March 2026*Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Advisor* to join a leading NSW Government department. This role will provide expert risk and compliance advice, supporting a high-performing team.

*About the Role*As a Senior Risk Advisor, you will:

  • Lead and support risk projects aligned with enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide analysis, monitoring and reporting on risk and compliance projects.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports to senior executives and the Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Maintain and enhance the risk, compliance, and assurance systems (including Protecht).

This is a key advisory position where you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing and mitigating strategic, operational and project risks while supporting compliance programs.

*About You*You will be a trusted advisor with demonstrated experience in:

  • Risk management, compliance and project management.
  • Interpreting and applying legislation, policies and governance frameworks.
  • Providing high-quality analysis and advice in complex environments.
  • Building strong relationships and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communicating complex concepts clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience in risk management are essential.
