Senior Manager – Risk & Compliance

An innovative and rapidly expanding technology company is seeking a
Senior Manager – Risk & Compliance
to join their Sydney-based team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance as part of a small, high-performing function, you'll take ownership of group-wide compliance oversight across multiple international jurisdictions, including Australia and the US.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role with genuine breadth and visibility across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and keep current the systems, policies and registers that underpin the risk and compliance function
  • Act as a critical partner to business leaders, constructively testing processes and offering guidance
  • Highlight emerging or significant risks to executive stakeholders and the Board
  • Coordinate organisational risk and compliance obligations across areas including:
  • Governance and reporting standards
  • Workplace safety requirements
  • Employee rights and labour regulations
  • Mobility, visas and right-to-work processes

About you:

  • Background in a risk and compliance team within professional services and/or in-house
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance guidance and pragmatism
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and regulatory environments
