About the Role
We are seeking a full time Project Manager with hands-on experience in the construction industry. The role will involve assisting with preliminary documentation and project coordination prior to builder engagement, and continuing to provide support throughout the construction process.
You will play a key role in helping prepare sites for construction by liaising with consultants, coordinating required reports and plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant pre-construction requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate preliminary documentation (e.g. planning permits, engineering, architectural documentation, Construction Certificate Documentation)
- Liaise with consultants to ensure timely delivery of required information
- Track progress, manage timelines, and ensure deadlines are met
- Identify and resolve issues or gaps in documentation proactively
- Review architectural plans and ensure design intent is maintained through CC documentation
- Assist in managing design changes and ensure they are reflected accurately across all documents
- Conduct site visits and provide on-the-ground insight into site conditions and potential challenges
- Help ensure all documentation is in place before engaging the builder
About You:
- Strong background in the construction industry (site experience essential)
Architectural qualifications or experience highly preferred
Experience in project management or coordination roles
- Familiarity with the documentation process and consultant requirements prior to construction
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own time
What We Offer:
- Flexible, full-time or part-time hours
- A supportive and professional team environment
- The opportunity to stay involved in interesting and diverse projects
- Competitive remuneration, negotiable based on experience
If you're ready to put your construction knowledge and experience to work in a flexible, meaningful way, we'd love to hear from you.
