About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
SharePoint Developer
to join a collaborative project team delivering Microsoft Productivity solutions for a leading Australian organisation. This role will be part of an
NTT delivery team of four
, working closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SharePoint and Microsoft Purview solutions that support compliance, governance, and information management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to SharePoint and Purview.
  • Design and develop SharePoint solutions aligned with compliance, governance, and data lifecycle management goals.
  • Configure and optimize Microsoft Purview features within the SharePoint environment.
  • Work alongside technical team members to ensure seamless integration and implementation.
  • Contribute to workshops, documentation, and project delivery activities.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for data classification, retention, and information protection using Purview.
  • Support testing, training, and change management initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a
    SharePoint Developer or Functional Designer
    in enterprise or government environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of
    Microsoft Purview
    —including governance, compliance, and risk management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience working with government or public sector clients.
  • Familiarity with hybrid and remote work environments.
