**Your new company**

As an experienced SharePoint Administrator, you will join a large Federal Government Department that promotes and protects Australia’s international interests to support our security and prosperity.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of this Department's SharePoint environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of Share Point sites, managing user access and permissions, and providing technical support to end-users. You will also:

- Monitor and optimise SharePoint performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement SharePoint solutions
- Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, installation, and configuration
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Share Point administration
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Experience with Visual Studio and development frameworks such as Vue, SPFx, React or Angular
