Bridge IT Engineering
is seeking
multiple Senior SharePoint Online Migration Specialists
to support a federal government ICT transformation project. These roles will play a critical part in migrating on-premises SharePoint 2019 holdings to SharePoint Online, ensuring a secure, efficient, and compliant transition of information assets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and executing content migrations from file shares and on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online using migration tools such as
    ShareGate
    .
  • Designing and implementing clear information architecture, including site structures, permissions, and governance frameworks aligned with business and compliance requirements.
  • Configuring SharePoint Online environments, including permissions, user access protocols, and secure content management.
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and analysing migration reports.
  • Assessing complex environments and remediating errors or issues during migration.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to ensure SharePoint Online is effectively integrated with other systems.

Essential

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online.
  • Expertise in PowerShell for scripting and automation.
  • Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript for client-side coding.
  • Strong knowledge of SPFx and PnPjs.
  • Familiarity with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate).
  • Experience with InfoPath and SharePoint Designer for redevelopment of forms/workflows.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD authentication.
  • Experience with Power Automate for custom solution development.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of information architecture, governance, and permissions management.
  • Ability to gather requirements and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and project teams.

Desirable

  • Proven track record in SharePoint Online migrations and integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience in government ICT project delivery.
