As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will be the second-in-command (2IC) to the Finance Manager, providing support and leadership in various financial functions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accounting operations including AR & Sales, AP & purchasing, payroll & HR, fixed assets, banking, stakeholders & advisors.
  • Managing the general ledger and overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Cash flow management
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns and other tax lodgements.
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
