About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Educator Information Technology to deliver high-quality vocational education and training programs that meet learner, industry, and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in planning, teaching, assessing, and coordinating IT programs, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess inclusive learning activities aligned with industry standards.
  • Coordinate program operations including timetabling, resource planning, and compliance documentation.
  • Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering best practice and innovation.
  • Engage with stakeholders and industry to enhance program relevance and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Relevant higher-level qualification (AQF6+) in adult or vocational education OR higher education teaching qualification with required skill sets.
  • Minimum 2 years' industry experience in IT and extensive teaching experience.
  • Strong understanding of learning principles and learner-centred methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and ICT skills.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
