About Us

At Broken Bay Brewing Co, we're all about great beer, good times, and bringing people together. We're open to the public every Saturday and Sundays, and the rest of the week is all about private functions, ticketed events, and unique experiences. Our brewery is a community hub, and we're looking for someone who can help us grow it even further.

The Role

We're seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Venue & Events Coordinator to take the reins of our function bookings, event planning, and venue promotion. This is a role for someone who can switch hats between hosting a Corporate function one day, organizing a Bucks or Hens night or working on the bar the next, and creating a social media buzz about our next beer launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate private functions, ticketed events, and in-house activities.
  • Work with clients to ensure events run smoothly and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and deliver marketing campaigns (social media, email, posters, local outreach).
  • Build relationships with community groups, performers, and suppliers to attract fresh events.
  • Ensure the venue is always presented beautifully and ready to wow.
  • Keep event calendars, bookings, and budgets up to date.

About You

  • Experience in events, hospitality, or venue management
  • Willing to lend a hand wherever required anywhere in the business.
  • Marketing and promotion know-how, particularly social media and content creation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work weekends and flexibly during the week as required depending on what's on.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude (and ideally, a love for craft beer).
