About the role

An exciting opportunity as the in-house Property Manager with a high profile portfolio owner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a portfolio of residential and retail properties in the Sydney region. In this Monday - Friday position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the properties under your care, from tenant relations to maintenance and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus and a keen eye for detail.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties, including liaising with tenants, conducting property inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Manage a portfolio of retail properties, including liaising with tenants, conducting property inspections, and coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure all properties meet relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including compliance with safety standards
  • Effectively communicate with landlords and tenants to address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to property management activities
  • Coordinate the advertising and leasing of vacant properties, including conducting viewings and negotiations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tradespeople and service providers to ensure efficient property maintenance
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and the processing of rental payments and outgoings

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in residential property management, with a strong understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of property management software and databases
  • A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field would be highly regarded
