About Us

MM PHOTOS is a boutique photography studio established in 1993. We are specialists in newborn portraits and also capture family outdoor shoots and our much-loved PawTrait sessions for pets. We pride ourselves on making every client feel cared for from their very first call to the moment they see their finished portraits.

About the Role

This position is perfect for someone who thrives on client communication and service, while also being hands-on as a newborn photographer. You'll be a key part of ensuring our clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported throughout their photography journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Communication & Phone Calls – You'll connect with clients by phone, guide them through booking, and prepare them for their shoot. You'll bring warmth and energy to every conversation, building trust and excitement.
  • Customer Service – Acting as the friendly face (and voice) of the studio. You'll ensure each family feels special during this memorable stage of their lives.
  • Newborn & Portrait Photography – Photographing newborns, families, and pets with sensitivity and creativity. While experience is required, we'll provide training in our unique style.
  • Calendar & CRM Management – Organising our busy schedule and updating client information on our CRM. Training provided.
  • Studio Support – Helping with day-to-day tasks to keep the studio running smoothly.
  • Adaptability – Being flexible when plans change (as newborns often do) and assisting the team to adjust quickly.
  • Events & Expos – Engaging with potential clients at our expos (around 6 per year, usually weekends).

  • A confident communicator who loves talking on the phone.
  • A warm, empathetic people-person who enjoys building strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Photography experience, ideally with newborns (training in our style provided).
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude when plans shift.
