Site Manager – Pre-School Projects (6-month contract role)

About the Company

Our client is a Project Management and construction specialist, renowned for quality, integrity and creating value for their clients. They are now seeking experienced Site Managers to help deliver a number of new pre-schools and refurbishment of existing pre-schools across Sydney.

The Role

They looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a contract-basis to take the project through to completion, which expected to completed mid-2026. These projects vary in scope, but would be either a refurbishment and upgrade of an existing school, or the construction of a new pre-school

They are looking for the people to get started within the next 2 weeks. These are contract roles which are expected to run through to mid-2026. There is the opportunity for these roles to go permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all site activities on pre-school refurbishments or new-builds (project specific)
  • Strong stakeholder management and previous education experience essential
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
  • Ensure strict compliance with WHS and quality standards.
  • Drive program and schedule to meet project deadlines.

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and head office.

  • Proven track record as a Site Manager on projects with challenging programs

  • Work with internal team and clients
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
  • A focus on safety, quality, and program delivery.
  • Trade background or construction management qualifications preferred.

Skills & Experience

  • Trade background or construction management qualifications preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and finishing details.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Experience on government projects highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of local market
  • Professional, pro-active with a solution-focused attitude
