Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Design & Build Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We're seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager for a short-term fit out/refurbishment project at a Defence project in South-West Sydney. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the site, ensuring safety, quality, and timeline adherence.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
  • Monitor progress and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Resolve issues or delays promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.

Requirements

  • Defence experience is essential – only candidates with prior experience managing projects on live Defence sites will be considered
  • Must hold a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
  • Australian Citizen with a clean criminal record (mandatory for site access)
  • Proven experience delivering refurbishments in live environments
  • Strong communication and site coordination skills
