Butcher Manager - Full time 38 hours / 5 days

We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Butcher Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a small team of butchers and apprentices
  • Ensure high standards in meat preparation, cutting, and presentation
  • Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance)
  • Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
  • Assist in rostering, staff training, and performance management
  • Drive sales and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the butcher section

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified butcher
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, processing, and merchandising
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

We are currently seeking a Qualified Butcher or 3rd Year Apprentice to join our team in a full-time role (38 hours per week), with overtime available.
