Head Nurse

We are looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant / Head Nurse to join our team with an immediate start.

Cross-training in reception and admin duties will also be a requirement of this job.

Ideal Candidate

Be naturally friendly, bubbly and approachable so you are able to build rapport with patients effortlessly and calm patients' anxiety when needed.

You should be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.

Have experience in Dental Assisting as well as proven management and leadership experience.

Be at least Cert III Qualified in Dental Assisting.

Working Hours:

Must be able to commit to some evening shifts (8pm finish) and some Saturdays.

Approximately 38hrs a week.

Actual shifts are rostered weekly depending on clinicians' appointment schedules, but will average to 38hrs a week.

Job Scope:

Make patients feel at ease and comfortable in our clinic.

Assist Clinicians with the days' procedures including set up and shut down of the clinical room.

Assist Clinicians in preparing and planning for the days' appointments including reviewing treatment plans and patient histories where relevant.

Clean and sterilize instruments and the surgery following all relevant infection control protocols.

Ensure consistent quality of care and compliance to all relevant legislations and company policies through reading of relevant guidelines, planning and implementing SOPs, training and ensuring compliance of all dental assistants to relevant policies.

Any other ad hoc duties as required for the day-to-day running of the clinic.
