**About the centre**

The Peter Krenz Leisure Centre is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and proudly managed by the YMCA. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and activities, including Learn to Swim, Group Fitness, Recreational Swimming, Health and Fitness, Stadium and Squash hire. The main goal of the YMCA is to provide opportunities for all people to be more active, more often and help them reach their personal fitness goals. Our friendly team is highly qualified and has the experience to help you reach your training goals - whatever they may be.

**About the role**

As a Duty Manager at Peter Krenz Leisure Centre
***you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
- Recognising pool water quality, plant room and cleanliness issues and acting accordingly
- Maintaining a focus on ‘Big Picture’ issues Centre wide
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre’s Emergency Action Plan
- Working autonomously as well as being an active leader.

This is a casual
***position and the hourly rate is $36.35 + Super. Please note that this role may be offered on a part-time basis as well.

**About you**

**Essential Qualifications**
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR certificate

**Other Desired Qualifications or Knowledge**
- Aquatic Technical Operator Skill Set Certificate
- Knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of plant and Branch operational aspects
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is desirable
