As the largest employer in fitness and recreation, we have more than 5,000 staff at over 140 centres across Victoria. With casual roles available across all YMCA Victoria outdoor pools over the summer period, you’ll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors.

**About the Centre**

The Peter Krenz Leisure Centre is owned by the City of Greater Bendigo and proudly managed by the YMCA. The Centre provides a wide range of programs and activities, including Learn to Swim, Group Fitness, Recreational Swimming, Health and Fitness, Stadium and Squash hire. The main goal of the YMCA is to provide opportunities for all people to be more active, more often and help them reach their personal fitness goals. Our friendly team is highly qualified and has the experience to help you reach your training goals - whatever they may be.

**About You**
- Ability to make decisions while under pressure & multitasking
- Being able to manage conflicts with patrons and users
- Ability to stay alert and vigilant in a repetitive work environment
- Providing excellent customer service for all members and guests
- Experience in the Aquatics and Leisure industry will be highly regarded
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Willingness to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children Check

**About the Roles**

Pool Lifeguards (casual rates starting at $31.13 per hour)

Supervising a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area. Requirements include; a Pool Lifeguard qualification (funding may be available to help you obtain this qualification). First Aid and CPR certificates are also required.

Customer Service Officers (casuals rates starting at $29.09 per hour)
