Lead HR in a Proud Tasmanian Business We're recruiting on behalf of a long-established Tasmanian manufacturer with a loyal and skilled workforce. Known for its strong sense of community and deep industry expertise, this Launceston-based business is seeking a capable and trusted Human Resources Manager to take full ownership of the HR function.
About the Role This is a hands-on and strategic role, ideal for a generalist HR professional who thrives in a close-knit, values-led environment. You'll manage end-to-end HR operations including:
- Performance management and coaching
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Development pathways
- Policy development and compliance
- Award interpretation and return-to-work coordination
- Payroll support and workforce planning
You'll work across all levels of the business to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that balance tradition with future growth.
What You'll Bring
- Strong HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Confidence in IR/ER matters and injury management
- Familiarity with payroll systems and modern awards
- Practical, personable approach with strong relationship-building skills
- Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience
