Overnight Production Chef (10pm – 6am)

Location: Clayton South, VIC

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

We're looking for an experienced Production Chef to join our overnight kitchen team. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in maintaining consistency, quality and efficiency during night operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and portion high-volume meals according to set recipes and production schedules
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance at all times
  • Oversee kitchen operations during overnight shifts and coordinate with the production team
  • Manage workflow efficiently across multiple tasks and stations
  • Communicate clearly with day and night shift teams to ensure smooth handovers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified chef (commercial or production kitchen)
  • Strong multi-tasking and communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure
  • Understanding of food safety and production procedures
  • Reliable, organised and able to work independently
