About the opportunity:

 - As Leading Hand, you will work closely with the Site Managers to supervise a team of tradesmen and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with the construction program.

A typical day might see you assisting with management of the day-to-day activities on site and ensuring the safety of the team, that works are completed defect free, carrying out site instructions and throwing on a tool belt to help out the team as required.

You will work with industry-leading clients and gain exposure to the opportunities often afforded to larger organisations while enjoying the fun and variety of a smaller team with a family feel.

Due to the nature of our work, your availability to undertake night work and weekends is a must.

 About you:

 - Have previously worked as a Carpenter, including having at least a Certificate III in Carpentry and 5+ years' experience in the construction industry

Having the discipline and positive drive to manage yourself and others to keep to schedule.

Have experience in fit out/refurbishment (a bonus, but not essential)

Are a self-starter and a clear communicator who works well in a team to get the job done on time and with no defects

Have a strong focus on safety for you and your team

Are a genuine team player with a no hassles, can do attitude who takes pride in delivering quality work

Possess your own tools and car

Are an Australian resident, fully qualified to work in Australia
