Position Overview

The Leading Hand - Civil Maintenance is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance and restoration works. In this role, you will support the Team Leader in executing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and council policies. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead by example, advocate for safety, and ensure that our work meets the expectations of our community. Your leadership will help shape the development of team members while you engage with innovative ideas and practises.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual with a strong background in civil maintenance and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certificate II in Civil Construction (or equivalent) and relevant licences.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing workloads for yourself and your team.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
  • Experience in using mobile technology and associated IT applications.
