Event Staff
At the corner of King and Flinders Street, The Waterside is where Melbourne comes to celebrate. Across three levels, events take every form: intimate private dining, rooftop parties under the skyline, and large-scale gatherings that fill the building with energy.
With so much happening under one roof, you'll sharpen your skills, grow your career and be part of a venue designed to be unforgettable.
We're looking for Event Staff to join our opening crew. All-rounders who thrive on variety, from food running and high-end service to preparing and flipping spaces that bring events to life. With wine and beverage knowledge, energy and an eye for detail, you'll help make every event feel seamless and memorable.
Who you are
- You have experience in hospitality, ideally with events, functions or high-volume service
- You bring wine, beverage and food knowledge, with a curiosity to keep learning
- You're reliable, professional and detail-oriented, even when the pace is fast
- You work well as part of a team and contribute to creating a positive culture
- You're flexible and happy to step into other areas of the venue when needed
What to expect
- Competitive pay with full Award entitlements (overtime, penalty rates etc.)
- Cross-training opportunities, leadership development and clear career pathways
- Recognition that celebrates you and your impact
- A culture of trust and belonging, where every voice matters
- Flexible rostering with a mix of days, nights, weekends
