Camden Council is seeking a passionate and skilled individual who thrives on enhancing the customer experience and delivering real service improvement to join our team as a Business Transformation Officer.

Reporting directly to the Director Customer & Corporate Strategy, this role will be instrumental in improving internal services that are critical to Camden Council's success. The position involves not just identifying opportunities, but also leading the design, implementation and embedding improvements that drive lasting change.

The successful applicant will bring proven experience in business improvement design & delivery, be confident in challenging the status quo and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to delivers sustainable, meaningful change.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process improvement &/or organisational wide improvement initiatives
  • Relevant qualifications in business improvement, project management or related fields and strong understanding of business improvement frameworks and tools
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and influence without authority

Desirable:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Human Centred Design certification
  • Sound local government knowledge and/or experience
