About the Role

This role will see you carrying out the centre's prisoner trust accounting functions in accordance with corporate and contractual requirements in a team environment. You will also provide support and backfill a diverse range of administrative roles in the Finance & Administration team with the potential opportunity for additional hours if desired.

About Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An ability to understand and apply policies and procedures under a database accounting software package

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and inmates

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

• Demonstrated advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to work in a correctional environment that will involve direct contact with prisoners in a non-working capacity due to the layout of the Centre and prisoners undertaking work throughout the Centre

Company Overview

Fulham Correctional Centre is the largest privately managed prison facility in rural Victoria, located in Fulham. With a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration, the Centre manages a population of up to 1049 male prisoners, including a Transition Community Program. Our mission is to provide offenders with the opportunity to engage in work, education, and transformative programs that address the root causes of criminal behaviour.
We believe in creating pathways to community safety through innovative rehabilitation initiatives. By providing comprehensive support and resources, we aim to facilitate successful reintegration for our prisoners, significantly reducing recidivism rates and promoting positive community outcomes.
