Queensland Government Consulting Services (QGCS) is a newly created Division of QTC an in-house consultancy model combining deep government insights with sharp consulting expertise to support departments across the state.

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Assistant to work at the heart of a growing division, supporting senior leadership and driving strategic outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

  • Be the trusted right hand to the MD, QGCS – managing complex calendars, correspondence, travel, and high-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate meetings and forums involving senior government officials, ensuring seamless logistics and professional delivery.
  • Provide strategic and operational support across divisional initiatives, projects, and events.
  • Deliver high-quality business support to QGCS Division leaders, including document preparation, communications, and records management.
  • Collaborate across QTC to support broader business operations and strategic priorities.

You Will Bring

  • Prior experience in a senior EA role within a corporate, consulting, or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including document preparation and minute taking.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to liaise confidently with senior executives, government officials, and external partners.
  • Advanced diary and travel management experience.
  • Proficiency in records management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, events, and cross-functional teams.
