Your role
Join us as a Senior Finance Analyst and drive impactful financial reporting and analysis across the Stronger Communities Cluster. You'll work in a high-performing, collaborative team, providing critical insights that inform budget decisions, improve financial processes, and support essential community services. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise, influence decision-making, and contribute to initiatives that make a real difference in the community.
What you'll do
As part of the Central Agency Reporting team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis that drives informed decision-making across the Stronger Communities Cluster.
You'll work in a collaborative, high-performing team that values integrity, innovation, and continuous learning.
You will:
- Prepare financial consolidations and reports for Treasury, external agencies, and internal stakeholders
- Provide expert financial analysis, evaluation, and modelling to support strategic decisions
- Support budget planning, cash flow management, and the annual audit process
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
What we're looking for
We're seeking a proactive and skilled finance professional who can deliver accurate insights and build strong relationships across the organisation. The successful candidate will have:
- Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and modelling within a complex organisation
- Proven ability to prepare accurate and timely financial data under tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce, or economics (or equivalent experience)
