Senior Payroll Compliance Officer | Brisbane CBD | 6-month contract
Your new company
This leading Queensland-based services company that operates across a range of disciplines is growing from strength to strength. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Compliance Officer to join their team on a contract basis for 6-months. Their offices are based in the Brisbane CBD within proximity of public transport options, and they do offer a few days WFH per week once settled into the role.
Your new role
You will be responsible for payroll legislative compliance, implementing payroll controls, supporting payroll best practice within the company, maintenance and maintaining the integrity of payroll data, conducting internal payroll audits, maintaining knowledge of awards, employment agreements, superannuation and tax legislation, payroll reporting (including end of month, FBT, Centrelink), developing and implementing proceedures relating to payroll and analysis of payroll processes and proceedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced senior payroll professional who demonstrates a hands-on approach and have extensive payroll compliance experience. You will have excellent communication skills, follow-through and the ability to streamline and improve processes. It is an essential requirement that you have used a large payroll system such as Aurion, Chris21, Preceda or SAP and have come from a medium to large-sized payroll to be considered for this role.
