Role Purpose
The General Manager (GM) provides overall leadership, vision, and direction for the XPENG Adelaide dealership. The GM will ensure exceptional customer experience, achieve sales and market share objectives, deliver commercial outcomes, and drive operational excellence, whilst leading the XPENG brand with integrity and an innovation mindset.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in automotive retail leadership, preferably with EV exposure, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in delivering financial growth and sales transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret complex financial reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with ownership and manufacturer expectations.
- Represent the dealership with all key stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in sales, digital transformation, and customer engagement.
Commercial Performance
- Deliver consistent sales growth and return on investment.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and capital planning for sales operations.
- Monitor KPIs across Sales and F&I to ensure sustainable performance.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure dealership operations meet or exceed manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
- Champion digital transformation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Safeguard company assets and manage business risk effectively.
Customer Experience
- Drive a customer-first culture, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty index targets are consistently achieved.
- Address escalated concerns and promote long-term relationships with key clients.
- Position XPENG Adelaide as the trusted automotive destination in the market.
People & Culture
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent in sales and support roles.
- Promote continuous learning, training, and career pathways.
