Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager - Manufacturing will lead the end-to-end manufacturing function, ensuring operational excellence, innovation and strategic alignment across the business. The role carries full accountability for productivity, quality, delivery, safety and sustainability outcomes, while embedding a culture of continuous improvement and performance. A key focus will be on advancing automation, driving digital transformation and ensuring manufacturing remains a strategic enabler of growth and customer confidence. The position also has responsibility for developing and executing a long-range manufacturing strategy, aligning investment, technology and workforce capability to meet REDARC's global ambitions.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in manufacturing and operations leadership, ideally within complex, high-technology or advanced manufacturing environments. They will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a record of scaling operations and expertise in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement. Experience with automation, robotics and digital manufacturing systems will be highly regarded, as will the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams through change. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is essential, with postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA viewed favourably. Above all, this person will be a strategic and hands-on leader who drives performance, fosters collaboration and demonstrates resilience, ambition and accountability.
