As the Senior Manager of Solution Consulting, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Presales Solution Consultants across Japan, Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and India, while also serving as a senior individual contributor for the Australia market. In this hybrid role, you'll partner closely with regional sales leaders to deliver innovative fraud prevention solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and driving adoption of Outseer's products across the region.

This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and customer engagement. You'll shape team culture, establish best practices, and contribute directly to revenue growth both within existing accounts and new logo pursuits.

Essential Duties:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Solution Consultants across the region by setting clear business and personal goals, providing regular feedback, and enabling team's professional growth.
  • Ensure effective account coverage and foster a culture of customer-centricity, technical excellence, and revenue focus.
  • Support territory and account planning efforts in collaboration with Sales, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and resource allocation.
  • Contribute to regional sales forecasting by providing insights into deal progression, technical validation, and customer readiness.
  • Partner closely with regional and global sales leadership to align pre-sales strategy with broader go-to-market objectives and revenue goals.
  • Drive hiring, onboarding, and talent development to build a high-performing team.

Individual Contributor Focus

  • Act as the senior Solution Consultant for the ANZ market, directly engaging with key customers and prospects.
  • Lead requirements discovery workshops, technical presentations, hands-on product demonstrations, and proofs of concept tailored to the ANZ market.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to ANZ clients, aligning Outseer's fraud solutions with their challenges and business objectives.

Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with Sales to deliver impactful technical engagements across all territories.
  • Understand customer goals and position Outseer's solutions through consultative selling.
  • Qualify opportunities by assessing technical fit, competitive landscape, and decision-making processes.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support sales objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as a voice of the customer, sharing field insights with Product Management and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support on go-to-market initiatives and enablement.
  • Represent Outseer at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in pre-sales or solution consulting, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in digital fraud prevention, with deep expertise in existing and emerging fraud vectors such as account takeover (ATO), scams, and other financial crime threats.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and SaaS-based cloud solutions, particularly as they relate to fraud detection and prevention.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Solid understanding of internet security threats (e.g., phishing, malware, social engineering).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in diverse APJ markets, particularly Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and India.
  • Familiarity with Outseer or similar fraud detection platforms.
  • Ability to manage several complex customer requirements and situations, navigate long sales cycles and efficiently handle internal and external objections.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the APJ region.
