We are looking for a Chef/Sandwich Hand for our busy restaurant/café in Sydney CBD. Good pay and bonus for the right person. Ideal candidate needs to be familiar with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine. Monday to Fridays onluy, no weekend.

Chef/Sandwich Hand

About the Role:

  • Assist our Headchef with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping and dicing vegetables and other ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all work surfaces, equipment and utensils are kept spotless
  • Accurately follow recipes and preparation instructions provided by the Headchef.
  • Stock and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our diners when interacting with them in the kitchen

About You:

  • At least one year experience in the similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
