About this Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Field Technician & Warehouse Storeperson on a permanent full-time basis. This hands-on role primarily involves performing under-pressure tappings and line stops across Southeast QLD and Northern NSW, maintaining CTS machinery and equipment, keeping stock levels in check, as well as travelling to various sites across Brisbane for the installation and commissioning of valves. Additionally, this role will assist with warehouse duties when not performing fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CTS machinery and equipment to ensure it is in safe and reliable working condition.
  • Perform under-pressure tappings and line stops in the field.
  • Valve installation and commission, including extension spindles, actuators and gear boxes.
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including but not limited to picking, packing, dispatching orders, receiving and storing goods, loading/unloading vehicles, using RF scanners for stock movements and conducting cycle counts (stocktaking).
  • Follow all health and safety procedures when performing tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • Customer service-oriented, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with key account customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Sound computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's licence.

Field technician training will take place in Melbourne and warehouse training will take place on the job as needed.
