Paulsens Gold Operation is back in operation, Kal East Gold Operation isramping up and with a robust project pipeline, and exploration activity accelerating across our tenements, Black Cat is firmly on the path to becoming a multi-operation gold producer.

Seeking a career Recruiter who has a passion for mining and an understanding that filling a position doesn't mean just filling a position  A person may have the right skills and experience, but if they don't have the right attitude or motivation to learn and are not a good team fit, then we keep looking

Based in our corporate office, with travel to Paulsens Gold Operation (PGO) and Kal East Gold Operation (KEG). The travel is not regular, but recruitment works best when there is strong knowledge and understanding of the sites, people and positions.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, and working closely with Leaders across the company, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment activities, ensuring the right people join Black Cat to support successful business and operational activities.

About You

Your success will come from thriving in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships at all levels of the organisation, and a genuine passion for delivering a positive and professional recruitment and onboarding experience.

You will need to have the below:

  • Strong recruitment background with demonstrated mining industry knowledge and experience. Experience with junior explorers or developers would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience with streamlining and improving recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for Black Cat, showcasing our values and culture to prospective employees.
  • Ability to build rapport and trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management, and an ability to juggle competing priorities, by having a solid understanding of recruitment needs.
