Role Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the capital markets space to join a growing firm and work alongside the Corporate Advisory team on capital markets transactions including IPOs and listed equity placements.

The Corporate Manager will be responsible for overseeing and organising corporate transactions from start to finish. You will consult with the ASX, lawyers, and relevant third parties to ensure all transactions are conducted appropriately and efficiently.

Further, you will work with external compliance support to ensure our company adheres to all legal and regulatory standards and in-house policies.

Duties Included:

Oversight and project management of corporate deals from start to finish including:

  • Attending due diligence meetings and collating relevant documents and information through the deal process
  • Inputting deal information into the in-house deal management programme and managing throughout
  • Drafting and sending out offer correspondence and key deal documentation to clients
  • Liaising directly with clients and third parties around deal queries
  • Working with Investment Advisors to oversee scale backs of deal bids, and ensure company policies are followed
  • Organising settlement with third parties regarding deals

Client management including:

  • Management of client accounts to ensure all necessary documents are on file
  • Liaising with clients to answer queries around transactions and portfolios

Working with external compliance support, including:

  • Monitoring relevant rules and regulations of ASIC and provide updates to the Company
  • Developing and enforcing compliance programmes and policies in accordance with the company and guidelines of the relevant regulatory bodies
  • Implementing best practice procedures to conduct business and other requirements
  • Managing and liaising with relevant regulators for compliance related matters or enquiries

Additional Requirements:

  • Preferably experience and passion in financial markets.
  • Corporations Act and ASX experience is preferred but not absolutely required
  • Experience and passion in financial markets
  • Develop ability to execute trades on ASX trading platform on behalf of clients
  • Degree in Commerce/Business Administration, or other related subjects
  • Initiative-taking, with good analytical mind set and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attention to deal and eye for fine details
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellence in relationship management and customer service both with external and internal stakeholders
  • Professionally presented in a corporate manner
  • Agreeable to complete the RG146 Accreditation and other relevant training
  • Have a fun outlook on life with a good sense of humour
