Partnerships & Collaborations Manager (12-Month Maternity Leave Cover)

Licensed products are used to bring brand worlds to life, create new revenue streams and create new occasions for consumers to see, touch and consume brands. We are looking for an experienced Partnerships & Collaborations Manager with great energy, who loves to network with strong creative & strategic planning, leadership and influence to sustainably grow and extend our clients brands. You will have the confidence and experience to connect our clients with other leading local and global brand owners – you know how to cut through and get the result. Each day will bring new & exciting opportunities to apply your knowledge and insights. You will be supported by a strong team across brand management, product development, finance & legal.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and driving brand collaborations, partnerships and collaboration strategies with retailers, manufacturers & culturally relevant brand collaborators.
- Leading, managing and nurturing client & partner agency relationships and managing the development of strategic priorities for worldwide territories.
- Creating and presenting pitch decks and business proposals for prospective collaboration partners and clients.
- Brainstorming, ideating and matchmaking ideal brand partnerships for new business development and campaign opportunities.
- Managing and developing strategic brand and business plans to meet client needs and financial objectives of company.
- Outreach to A-grade brands for new business prospecting, building collaboration pipelines and introducing partnership opportunities.
- Negotiating high-value commercial & creative business plans with prospective partners and overseeing legal agreements across Domestic & International territories.
- Assist in developing budgets and manage forecasts along with financial performance of the rest of the Asembl team
- Oversee and create brand sales decks, business updates and setting, monitoring, meeting and exceeding budgets and forecasts.
- Supporting early-stage brand management and collaborating closely with Brand Managers to ensure smooth project execution from inception to completion.
You will also:
- Contribute to category plans and annual company business plan.
- Nurture and maintain ongoing relationships with collaboration partners, providing regular updates and insights to strengthen partnerships..
- Maintain & organise all documents on server.
- Potential for limited international and domestic travel, if necessary.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role (PR, Advertising, Licensing, Partnerships or related field).
- A demonstratable positive & professional communication style with an ability to influence.
- The ability to oversee and lead the management of multiple brand collaborations and partnerships.
- Experience within Lifestyle & FMCG category, stakeholder management, client liaison and an eye for detail.
- Excellent ability with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
