**About the role**
This exciting role sits within the HammondCare Foundation team. The Foundation exists to fund opportunities that would not otherwise exist for HammondCare patients, residents, clients and staff to stay connected to purpose, community and place in meaningful and impactful ways.
The **Partnership & Grants Manager** plays a pivotal role in advancing HammondCare’s mission by cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with current and prospective corporate, trust & foundation supporters to achieve the fundraising targets of the Foundation and secure partnership support for the delivery of programs.
**Key Responsibilities include**
- Developing and delivering Grants and Corporate Partnership strategies
- Contributing and assisting to implement a Trust and Foundation donor strategy
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing grant funders, trusts and foundations and other funding partners
- Developing and championing a pipeline of grant funders and overseeing thorough research of opportunities
- Coordinating Corporate Volunteer program from administration to event participation and stewarding of key relationships
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders on pilot initiatives that attract future funding
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide partnership solutions to business challenges and needs (i.e. gifts in kind)
**About You**
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
- At least 5-10 years demonstrated experience in a partnership or fundraising role with responsibility for successfully achieving targets
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing grant funding
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the Trusts & Foundations landscape
- Prior contacts/existing relationships with corporate partners, Trusts & Foundations
- Ability to work to deadlines, sometimes with tight timeframes, and work under pressure
- Logical thinker with strong planning and organisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player with good presentation skills
- Ability to distil complex ideas and volumes of content into simple, clear messages and concise summaries
