What this job involves:
The Property Admin Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the property administration function, ensuring efficient invoice management and processing while leading a small team of administrative professionals.
A snapshot of the role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for team members on financial systems and business processes
- Establish yourself as the primary system expert/super user while cultivating additional system specialists within the team
- Ensure team compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures through regular audits and coaching
- Identify and implement efficiency opportunities within the Property Admin team as systems mature
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues from Property Managers and Operations teams

- Demonstrate advanced system knowledge and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Effectively delegate responsibilities while maintaining accountability
- Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to team members
- Communicate effectively across various organizational levels
Diploma or partial/full degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
Demonstrated accounts payable experience in a property management environment
3+ years' experience operating accounting or business systems (CAAPS, MRI preferred)
1-2 years' team leadership or supervisory experience
Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems quickly
