What this job involves

The Property Admin Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the property administration function, ensuring efficient invoice management and processing while leading a small team of administrative professionals.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for team members on financial systems and business processes
  • Establish yourself as the primary system expert/super user while cultivating additional system specialists within the team
  • Ensure team compliance with accounts payable policies and procedures through regular audits and coaching
  • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities within the Property Admin team as systems mature
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues from Property Managers and Operations teams
What we're looking for
  • Demonstrate advanced system knowledge and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities while maintaining accountability
  • Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to team members
  • Communicate effectively across various organizational levels

Diploma or partial/full degree in finance, accounting, or business administration

Demonstrated accounts payable experience in a property management environment

3+ years' experience operating accounting or business systems (CAAPS, MRI preferred)

1-2 years' team leadership or supervisory experience

Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems quickly
