About Perilya Limited:

Perilya Limited is a well-established Australian mining company with a proud history and a strong international footprint.

Headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia, our operations include the iconic Broken Hill Operation in New South Wales—one of the world's great base metals mines with over 130 years of continuous production—and the first underground mining operation in the Dominican Republic, Coridom, which continues to deliver high-quality zinc, lead, copper, and silver.

Together, these assets form the foundation of a business with scale, resilience, and long-term growth opportunities.

Role Details:

We're seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Adelaide Corporate Office and support the Group's HR strategy and operations.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Strategy and Governance, this role provides both strategic and hands-on leadership across HR governance, workforce planning, employee relations, organisational design, and leadership capability initiatives.

You'll partner with executives and site teams to deliver consistent, compliant, and high-performing HR outcomes across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Group HR Strategies: Support the rollout of HR frameworks, policies, and systems ensuring alignment with business objectives and statutory compliance.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with executives, site leadership, and HR teams to identify workforce needs, develop tailored people solutions, and enhance organisational capability.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues, investigations, and performance management, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and company policy.
  • Union and Industrial Engagement: Maintain productive working relationships with unions and employee representatives, support enterprise bargaining, manage disputes, and ensure consistent and lawful right-of-entry and consultation processes.
  • Workforce Planning & Organisational Design: Drive workforce reviews, position evaluations, and change management programs that optimise structure, capability, and cost efficiency.
  • Culture & Engagement: Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, leadership capability, and alignment with Perilya's values.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics: Deliver accurate HR metrics, dashboards, and workforce insights to inform strategic decision-making at the Executive and Board level.

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' HR experience, including senior advisory or management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, employment law, and industrial relations.
  • Experience in unionised or heavily regulated industries, ideally mining or resources.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Why Join Perilya:

At Perilya, you'll be part of a values-driven mining company with strong global partnerships and a commitment to long-term success. Joining us means more than just taking a job – it's becoming part of a team where your contribution makes an impact.
