Human Resources Advisor
to join our team and support our hotel's most valuable asset our people.

As the HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands on role that partners closely with department leaders to drive a positive and engaged workplace culture.

• Permanent full time position
• Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.
• Working across both Stamford Grand Adelaide and Stamford Plaza Adelaide

About The Role
Reporting to the Area HR Director you will be the first point of contact for all team members and managers on HR related matters.

No two days are the same, you'll work across the full spectrum of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training, and workplace relations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about hospitality and making a genuine impact in a people-first environment.

Core Requirements Of Your Role

• Partnering with managers to provide advice on all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Leading the end-to-end recruitment process — from advertising and interviewing to onboarding new team members.
• Managing employee files, contracts, and compliance requirements in accordance with Fair Work and company policy.
• Coordinating training and development activities to support skill growth and career progression.
• Supporting engagement and recognition programs that celebrate team success and foster a positive culture.
• Preparing HR reports, metrics, and documentation for Head Office review.
• Ensuring all actions and advice align with workplace laws, modern awards, and Stamford's policies.

About You
You're a people-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer centric environment. You're confident in supporting managers, building trusted relationships, and handling a wide range of HR matters with care and confidentiality.

You'll Also Bring

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or similar role (hospitality or service industry experience highly regarded)
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (or working towards one)
• A solid understanding of Fair Work legislation, modern awards, and general HR compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and influence at all levels
• Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Experience using HRIS or payroll systems (Zambion experience highly regarded)
• A proactive, solution focused mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Full working rights in Australia
