About the Role: As an Operational Control Centre (OCC) Officer at our Randwick depot, you play a crucial role in controlling the on-road aspects of day-to-day service delivery for Sydney's Eastern Suburbs bus services. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor operations using radio communications systems and resources.
  • Improve service reliability with PTIPS (or similar) functionality.
  • Manage disruptions and provide timely support during emergencies.
  • Liaise with emergency services and update network reports.
  • Update communication, activity and reports within the network.
  • Hours are a combination of two permanent shifts:
    • Afternoon Shift: 13:45 to 22:15
    • Night Shift: 22:00 to 06:00

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in transport, logistics, or services industry.
  • Holding a valid or ability to obtain TLIF0006 - Administer a fatigue risk management system certificate.
  • Computer proficiency or prior experience across multiple systems.
