ABOUT THE ROLE
The Mobile Speed Camera Program is recruiting Network Operations Centre Operators (Control Room Operators). This position is the main point of contact and coordinates the Mobile Speed Camera Operators, the vehicles and placement for the enforcement sessions.
As a Control Room Operator you will work on a rotating roster, established using 12-hour shifts, working days, nights and weekends both autonomously, and as part of a broader team to provide remote supervision and support for all Mobile Speed Camera Services.
You will be working in a team of 2-3, in a high-tech control centre, with multiple monitors, taking regular calls from our Speed Camera Operators, and supporting them in their day-to-day duties.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinating and monitoring the Mobile Speed Camera Operator on the allocations of sites, set up of vehicle and all matters relating to the enforcement session
- Effective communication with all Mobile Speed Operators to ensure ongoing safety and maximum protection
- Respond to all incidents, Mobile Speed Camera support requirements and reporting processes
- Actively monitor the vehicle travel journey including the vehicle speed alarm and actively monitor any duress system whilst deployed
- Understanding the TfNSW Business Requirements related to the Mobile Speed Camera Program

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following:

- Experience in conducting control room activities in a similar environment
- Ability to deal with challenging situations
- Service delivery across a 24 x 7 schedule
- Previous experience in conducting incident investigations
- Ability to write and compile detailed reports
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and professional phone manner
- Computer-literate, and comfortable adapting to and learning new systems
