  • Prior working knowledge of applying for government grants and acquitting them.
  • Commitment to hosting and hospitality for donors, artists and the community.
  • Understanding of successful mentoring and events programming.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with current artists and audiences to leverage opportunities.
  • Optimising access to stories across the community, government and the private sector.
  • Ensure timely advice and reporting on key initiatives and opportunities for the CEO and GM.

  • Contribute to the coordination of communication initiatives that promote the Centre.
  • Research ongoing opportunities for prospective fundraising and new story collections (oral and written).
  • Represent Centre for Stories within the community, and with external stakeholders across public and private sectors.

Selection Criteria

  • An ethical and values-driven approach to working collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for the arts, including training and previous experience (5-7 years)
